Does Website Counts?

If I ask this question, most of you will say yes, but many of the small business owners might ignore it with a reason of ‘do they really need website?’ or many owners leave it behind due to  financial cost involved that stop them to have one .e.g. may be a dedicated staff for maintaining the  website.

I was surfing through different organisations portfolio and seen records where even after their incorporation those firms don’t have any website or those who already built one were not managing well.

Many researches have shown that people now prefer to search online especially ‘Google or Yahoo or via by Smartphone’s, before they actually visit your organisation for their requirements.  They try to match their need with the products of their needs through surfing around in internet and getting the right information before hand. Yes of course, it may also happen that they might do a business with you, without going through in details just because the website looks professional or they just want to test you for a while.
Well it’s up to one’s choice but weather it’s a restaurant, pub or school, making a website definitely adds value to your company provided your information and products are displayed correctly. And the rest is up to customer’s opinion to fill their shopping carts or order online with your company.

Here are few benefits which you might get in having a good managed website.

1) It will tell you’re prospective or existing customers what you do and how you do it.
2) You can tell your growth and achievements to your clients in building a good image of your company.
3) It will assist your business ranking in search engines.
4) Make your brand promotion to different region
5) Your website can be one of the highly generating marketing tools to increase your revenue.

6) You can aware customers of your promotions via nice laid out pictures or promotional prices which may not be available if you don’t have an online presence to attract wide range of customers from different regions

7)You can build a strong customer base via feedbacks or emails.

In today’s date where business presence in social media is on fast pace, you might be missing something from not having a website. If you want to be different you have to do differently to diversify yourself. Though there may be one time cost involved but surely the benefits is of long term generating incomes which can bear the cost of making the website.

By keeping the objective of business as mainly profit motive by many owners, website can be of high importance in generating good portfolio of clients and standing out from their competitors in a different way. If you  don’t want to have one or don’t find a time to manage properly, It may happen that  you are  leaving a space for your business to be behind your own industry or rivals.
